About the Journal

The Hanover Review is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Hanover Press. It is dedicated to advancing rigorous theological and historical scholarship with an ecclesial orientation — scholarship that is academically serious and churchly in concern.

The journal publishes original essays, critical responses, and review articles in theology, church history, biblical studies, and philosophy of religion. We are especially interested in work that engages the Protestant and Baptist traditions, though we welcome contributions from across the broader Christian scholarly community.

The Hanover Review practices double-blind peer review. All submissions are evaluated on scholarly merit, clarity of argument, and contribution to the field.
